And I Thought The Guys in Home Games Were Dumb

So I've been playing alot on Party Poker. They just updated their tournaments so you start off with more chips, which I like because it makes it slightly less of a crap shoot. However, when you're playing against 7, 8, or even 9 morons, it is still a crapshoot.

The game was 4 handed with the blinds very high at 400/800. I had about 7,000 chips in front of me. I had Ace Queen on the button so I doubled the blind. It was a pretty big raise considering only one player at the table wasn't technically short-stacked.

The small blind called but really he was all-in no matter what with about 53 extra chips after posting his blind. The big blind was pretty low and he called with 6-4 of clubs. The small blind had Ace-7. So preflop I was 43% to win, A-7 was 16% and 6-4 was 37%.

The flop was 5, Jack, Ten, rainbow flop. This made me 65% to win with Ace-Queen high, and a straight draw. Ace-7 was only 8% and 6-4 was 28%. I was 60% to win. Ace-7 needed a 7, 6-4 needed runners for a straight or a flush or a 6 or a 4.

The guy with 6-4 decided it would be a good time to go all-in. He only had about 800 chips left. I had about 5 to 1 pot odds and the chance to eliminate 2 players. I knew even if I was behind, I had two overs and a gutshot straight draw. I called. I was overjoyed when I saw what I was up against.

The turn was a 2. That made me 69% likely to win. A-7 still needed one of three 7s and 6-4 now had some legitimate outs, but he still needed help and was 23% to win. The river was a 6. I lost the hand, along with more than a third of my stack. I was quickly blinded out and eliminated in 4th, 1 position out of the money.

I just don't know what the hell you're doing with 6-4 there when you're short-stacked. Every time I raised and showed, I showed hands like Ace-King, Aces, Kings, Jacks, and Tens. What are you trying to do with 6-4? I mean, if you've got alot of chips and want to either catch something big or bluff at it, that's fine. I guess that's what he did. But wouldn't he know that I was pot committed and would call him?

I typed in "wow" into my chat thingy and the moron laughed. I couldn't beleive it. This guy got lucky and was a total moron and was laughing about it. That erased any doubts that I was playing with a retard.
